![]() I picked up Clip Studio when a number of artists suggested it was better than Photoshop.I have been using it now for about 5 years and moving to it has been one of the worst decisions I've made in my career. The rest are old good digital paintings without any effects. This is a hastily written rant I'm going to write between waiting for my file to save. First two of them are my old works with ‘Watercolor Painting’ filter applied from Filter Forge (trial) applied. Basically I wish that program that is combination of these two to existed. What I miss the most are Krita’s deform brush, color history, some layer blending modes (eg no color blending mode) and Krita’s performance but on the other hand CSP has better layer management (selecting, copying, moving multiple layers), support for 1,2,3 – point perspective guides and clipping layers are bit easier to setup. ![]() Feels like sculpting and that is big + for me. Cool app, has great brush blending options that helped me to create my favorite brush ever. Use custom presetsįirst image ‘Alien Punk’ painted in Clip Studio Paint. default brushes are not good but Artman Preset is awesome.bad default navigation imo, but you will be able to customize it.some stuff is buggy, or not functional at but recent 4.1 release fixed lots of stuff.I didn’t managed to export vertex color from blender back to 3d coat recently.exporter for blender dosen’t seems to work.Cool and fast booleans – especially in voxel mode.painting with layers and blending modes. In zbrush you have to make lowpoly version of sculpt first to get smooth masking with transpose tool – bit time consuming. easy gradient masking – awesome to pose hipoly sculpt.easy way of posing multiple objects at once (no need to merge).I zbrush you can move only one tool at time (unless going with zpose) This allow of transformation of whole group of objects at once. ![]() ![]()
